TVOKids Greenbelt Adventure Day at Whittamore’s Farm, provided a welcome retreat for families in Markham yesterday.

Everywhere you looked, children, moms and dads, enjoyed the farm fun offered at Whittamore’s Annual Strawberry Festival. Face painting, a balloonist, arts and crafts bus, wagon rides, animals, a play park and much more, provided a fun way to celebrate everything that makes Father’s Day special.

The festival was also made memorable for the kids by the presence of TVOKids hosts Mark and Ryan, who emceed a pie eating contest and signed autographs. Mark and Ryan kept up the energy and enthusiasm that make them such popular hosts, and helped ensure that the pie eating contests and day offered ‘an exciting experience’ for all in attendance.

The first 400 children also received a gift bag from TVOKids as a souvenier of Father’s Day 2009 and their Greenbelt Adventure.
