Rouge Park Guided Walks, Various Locations Throughout Rouge Park (Toronto)
Join us for an urban wilderness adventure in Rouge Park. Not too far from the skyscrapers of downtown Toronto, urban dwellers can see a different landscape where historic farms, century-old trees, peaceful meadows and lush wetlands await you. Just over an half hour drive from downtown Toronto, and even less from Markham and Pickering, you’ll feel you’ve left the city behind. See things you might not have seen before and come back for more. Some trailheads are TTC accessible! Learn about the Park’s nature, wildlife and trail skills with our friendly and fun volunteer leaders. We have something for everyone, whether you’re looking for wildlife sightings, quiet nature walks, family friendly outings, fitness challenges or just to meet new people.
